Mourners shocked as one of them carries own plate,spoon to funeral

Residents of Moulem Estate in Kisumu were recently left in stitches when a woman who had come for a funeral unashamedly whipped out of her handbag a plate, cup and a spoon after the said cutlery ran out during meal time. As it is the custom in Nyanza, meals must be served at funerals, as a way of celebrating the departed soul. Thus, this particular one was not any different. A relatively well known man had passed on. And this called for an elaborate and dignified sendoff that saw locals throng his homestead a couple of days before his burial.
