Former Prime Minister Hon. Raila Odinga
Former prime minister and Opposition leader Raila Odinga has come out to dismiss reports that the Corona virus pandemic has stopped the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) reggae and urged Kenyans to prepare for a referendum after the pandemic.
Mr. Odinga reiterates that the BBI process only took a break likening with the half time break in a football and cannot be misconstrued to mean the end of a match.
“If the referee blows the whistle for half time during a football match for players to go and rest, do you say the match is over?” He posed
While speaking during an interview with citizen radio on Friday, the former prime minister said the BBI task force is currently finalising the report and that once the pandemic is managed, everything will resume.
